GONG XI GONG XI everybody!

Still a bit hard for me to believe yesterday was the first day of Chinese new year cos yesterday was sooo rush from one place to another. It is a stark difference from today, cos today more relax la.. Heh.

Yesterday, after church in the morning, my family and I went through the normal routine of visiting relatives and eating goodies.

I made a bad mistake of wearing these strapped heels, because everytime we went to a new house, i had to unstrap my shoes and when we were leaving i had to strap them back on again! It was frustrating cos i was always the last one to leave the house.. Anyways, it was the only girly shoes i had that matched so there was no choice but to stick with them. A Lesson learnt : Do not wear strapped shoes when going on CNY visitations.

During visitation saw a really cool BMW car. Heh. Maybe i should put this pic of the car in my dream book and pray really hard. Who knows? Next year i would be able to drive this car to school!! Wo hoo. :P

After all the visitations and an evening service, my family and I went with another family to Prata Place!! Hehe. It was kindda like the highlight of the day for me cos I have had quite enough of chinese food.

My poor dad had to celebrate his birthday with really really BAD food poisoning. It was really bad. He went to the toilet around 7 times during the first day, and on the second day, he suffered from spasms. Yikes. Heh. But i thank God he is feeling so much better today! If he is good, i'm good too. Haha.

Today is valentines day, a special day for all of us to remember something important called LOVE. For now, i think i am in love with the children at the kindergarten i am working at. Haha. They can be so cute, adorable and a pain in the neck all at the same time. How can they manage ths feat? I am not sure.. Talking about children, i gotta few nice pictures i took the other day.

Today, i also take this time to be so so so so grateful for the love of God upon my life. When you feel even a tinge of his love, you just want to receive more.. I guess no words can describe it the Father's Love. Happy Valentines Day!

The results are out!!! And i am happy and satisfied with my results. Haha. Thank you all for the support and encouragement!!! Most of all, I want to thank God and give him all the glory and honour. I feel that the results were kindda like a miracle cos i was not confident for my Chemistry and Literature results, and ended up getting an A1 and A2 respectively. I have never ever, in my whole life gotten this high a result for these two subjects, plus, the papers were quite difficult. The most disappointing subject was my English, cos i got a B3... but i was kindda expecting it as my fingers and brain went slightly stiff when i was writing my compo. Oh wells, I am still happy overall and very thankful. All glory be to God!!!!

This is the picture of the Lit crew!! Lit in my school was the only subject that had 100% distinctions!! Way cool huh? :P

To celebrate the results, my family and I went out for supper at our favourite eating spot Adam's road. On the way there, I was relating to my parents about how this was one of the most happiest and exciting times of my life, and my father made a comment. He said that "There will be still more to come." His comment made me think much, and i realised that there is still a looong loong way for me to go in life if God keeps me here on this earth, and many more exciting experiences. Heh. Whatever it is, i also realised that however good or bad your results are, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter, because results don't determine who you are or who you are going to be. It is God who does that..

After the release, i went out with Nic and Meh to have a small celebration and buy my daddy's birthday pressie!!! Hehe. I ended up getting him one of the latest hillsongs Cds. I hope he will like it.

Now, to the topic of my pimple. I have a pimple near my chin that is killing me!! It hurts badly, but thankfully it is not that enormous. Hehe. I find it really hard to eat, and smile cos it is near my smiling and eating muscles. Argh! Sickening pimple. You wanna know my policy on pimples? "To accept it, and give it as much Love as possible". Haha. Lame huh? Try not to notice it ok? :)

The clock is ticking down to the time I tear open the perforated lines to find out my O'level results. OOoooooo, these are one of the exciting times of my life. Haha.

For now, my anxious-o-meter is at 3 from a scale of 1 to 10, but i am quite sure it will be at 10 when i step into the dreaded school hall tml.

If you wanna find out my results first hand, you could message me and I will give it to you freely no matter how well or badly i did. Hee.

It has been a crazy long time since i blogged. Haha. I admit, i have been lazy cos work has been tiring, but it has been rewarding at times cos most of the children are overflowing with cuteness!!! Haha. One of the kids remind me of this character in Over the Hedge, Cammy. This hyper active squirrel that is super fast, and mischievous, and at times irritating, but you can't help but look at him and say "Awww.." . Heh. You get what i mean? I downloaded a video of this cute character just to get a giz of the children that i come in contact with everyday..

Cute huh? Haha. I think i'll add another video of this squirrel just for fun. Hee. Thanks Jordan, for your help!

My Job aside, I went out with the track girls on Thursday! and i went back to my Sec school Yesterday!! Haha. Super fun and exciting to see my old school and catching up with my friends!! I have missed their wackiness so much!! Haha. When i went back to school yesterday, realised that time has passed super fast. I know i say that many times on this blog but it is true ain't it? Hee. It was like yesterday i was sitting in the school hall with the rest of my fellow schoolmates literally cracking my head over a piece of paper, and in around 6 days i would be collecting my exam results! GOSH!! SO fast!!!!
