God's Princess

I like my new job!! Hehe. I find it super interesting to be hanging around children although at times they can suck up a lot of your energy. :) So far, everything at work is going on smoothly, and i am enjoying myself..

I am currently working as a teacher's assistant in a kindergarden, and this week i was suppose to help out in the nursery class (4 year olds). It is amazing how much these children pick up things sooo quickly and how much they know at such a young age! Take for example, boy, girl stuff. Haha. There is this boy in class who constantly insists on sitting next to this girl in class, and would end up crying really badly if he doesn't get his way. Then just yesterday, i heard him say to the girl, "I love you, you know?" I was quite amazed at his statement, cos i didn;t know a 4 year old child could have such strong feelings for someone. Heh.

Ever since starting work, I also started conversing more in Chinese cos half the children there speak better Chinese than me.. Pai seh man... Haha. To connect with them, i have to speak Chinese so they will understand me better, and many times i just don't know how to put it across. To think that i have studied Chinese for around 8 1/2 years!! Gosh.. Anyways, at the rate i am speaking Chinese, it would most likely improve... ... I hope. Hah.

So yupp, this is kindda like my first post of working life. Thank God for sucha wonderful part time job..
